Domestic friends & family payments funded by bank account or PayPal balance are completely free. However, card-funded F&F payments incur a 2.90% + $0.30 fee. International F&F transfers cost 5% (minimum $0.99, maximum $4.99) on top of any domestic card-funded fee.
